KANSAS CITY, May 10, 2023 – Claridge Court, a Lifespace retirement community, is pleased to announce the completion of its total community renovations. The extensive renovations have transformed Claridge Court’s living spaces, communal areas and amenities to create a modern and welcoming environment for its residents for years to come.
The renovations, which took one year to complete, included updates to all resident common spaces, new flooring, painting, updated lighting, and the addition of several new amenities, including a new outside terrace, a salon, pub, spa, and a renovated library.
According to Rob Salierno, executive director of Claridge Court, these renovations have brought new life to the community and have made it an even more desirable place to live for older adults. “We are thrilled to unveil these stunning renovations to our residents and the Kansas City community. We believe these updates will allow us to continue to provide exceptional care and services to our residents while offering a modern, welcoming environment for them to call home.”
One of the major highlights of the renovation is the new Health Center Terrace, which was made possible in part by the Claridge Court Foundation, a resident-run organization dedicated to supporting the community. The foundation provided funding for the new addition along with many other features in the community.
According to Salierno, the addition of the Health Center Terrace is a testament to the impactful generosity of spirit at Claridge Court. “We are extremely grateful to the Claridge Court Foundation and all of our residents for their support and enthusiasm for this project,” Salierno said “The new Health Center Terrace is a fantastic addition to our community and will benefit our residents in so many ways.”
Claridge Court is part of the Lifespace Communities family, which operates senior living communities in eight states. The community offers independent living, skilled nursing and amenities to meet the unique needs of each resident.
